2023 Hyundai Sonata Price Point

The Sonata remains to be one of the most affordable sedans available. The 2023 Sonata will be offered in five trims, including the SE, SEL, SEL Plus, Limited, and sporty N Line. The Sonata will be offered in a hybrid variant as well. Starting MSRP for the new models is as follows:

  • SE - $25,250
  • SEL - $27,775
  • SEL Plus - $32,275
  • N Line - $34,625
  • Limited - $35,125
Drivers who want the best value from the all-new Sonata will find the SEL a favorable choice. The SEL offers well-loved features, including heating front seats, a bigger entertainment display touchscreen, and a more comfortable interior.

The Sonata Delivers The Technology You Want

The thoughtfully designed 2023 Hyundai Sonata has all the tech features drivers want. All models are equipped with a responsive touchscreen infotainment system, starting with an 8-inch screen on the base model that bumps up to 10.25 inches in the higher trims.

Standard features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, remote keyless entry, and Heated exterior mirrors. Bumping up to the SEL adds to those features with the Convenience Package that includes a rear USB charging port, a wireless smartphone charging pad, Hyundai digital keys that allows you to access your vehicle using your Android smartphone instead of the actual key, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a digital instrument display.

The N Line and LImited Trims continue to build on these tech features and nifty luxuries like rain-sensing windshield wipers.

Drive Off With Power You Can Count On

The base and SEL models are equipped with a 2.5 L 4-cylinder engine that delivers 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. Bumping up to the SEL Plus brings a 1.6 turbo 4-cylinder engine that dips horsepower down a bit to 180 but boosts up torque to 195 lb-ft. The same engine is also outfitted in the Limited, while the sporty N Line sees a stronger 2.5 L turbo 4-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque.

Front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission come standard on all models. However, the N Line is outfitted with an 8 Speed Wet Dual Clutch Transmission.

More Standard Safety Features

The Sonata has one of the most comprehensive standard safety features in its class. Starting with the base model, drivers can look forward to a slew of the driver assistant, including the following:

  • Forward collision warning with automatic braking
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Lane keeping assistance
  • Lane-keeping system
  • Blind-spot intervention
  • Rear cross-traffic alert
  • Safe exit warning That allows rear passengers to safely open the doors when there's a vehicle approaching from the rear
  • Rear automatic braking

Interior And Exterior Features

The Sonata offers several interior features that enhance your comfort as you drive. The cabin is intuitively designed, with all tech components comfortably within reach. The base model SE is offered in the cloth upholstery, but you can bump up to leather seating with the SEL Plus, N Line, and Limited.

You won't get many great comfort features with the base model, but bumping up to the SEL allows you to enjoy heated front seats, power-adjustable driver seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The inline and limited build on this with ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, and power-adjustable passenger seats.

While not the largest sedan in its class, it does offer ample cargo space with a 16 cubic ft trunk. Split-fold rear seats come standard and allow you to enjoy more space when you need it.

You will see little change with the exterior of the all-new Sonata, though it does tout a sleeker, more modern look as the solar roof has been replaced with a panoramic roof.
