Hyundai offers two powertrains in the Santa Fe: a 2.4L Inline 4-cylinder engine that drives 185 horsepower with 178 pound-feet of torque and a turbocharged 2.0L power plant that cranks 260 pound-feet of torque with 235 horsepower. Both engines are coupled with an efficient eight-speed SHIFTRONIC automatic transmission with Idle Stop & Go for improved fuel economy. If you like some variety in the Santa Fe's performance and handling-or you need to adapt to changing road conditions-you can choose from four drive modes, including Sport and Snow.
